VERY BIG THANKS, hugs, and kisses to all who served my Mom and my family and joined us in making last night a beautiful memorial to my mother!

Guest Services is looking for those who have been wanting to serve, but may have been putting it off.  We are in need of Ushers for all of our services.  Although it may look as if we have enough volunteers each week,  we have been relying on last minute help each Sunday.  Believe it or not we only have (1) Usher at 4pm and (3) at the 6pm service. So if you have been looking for an opportunity to serve, Guest Services really needs you now.

Gilbert Campus Volunteers needed to help out within Guest Service Ministries – Traffic and Parking. 

We currently ONLY have 2 faithful volunteers who have been serving each Sunday with traffic control, and they would love to have a team of at least 6 to work with.

Hi Anne – 8:15a-11:45a.  Does that still work for you?

The Strong family (Mike, Annie, and kids) would also be able to help out on Mondays, if needed. We won’t be able to serve until Sept. 12 after returning from Morocco. Thank you!

No worries, Jen.  As long as we already have one on file for you.

Vicky – the hours will vary depending upon the event.  On Monday evenings it will most likely be around 5:45-8 or 8:30pm.  That is still to be determined based on each day we need help.  I will probably create a group on The City and post the childcare needs as they arise so that the paid workers can let us know if they can work.  Right now, I do know that we need as many workers as possible on Monday the 15th from 5:45 until 8:15pm. ($25)  Our membership class starts then and runs for three weeks. 

I have the forms for the background checks and will leave some at the guest services counter on Sunday.  You can fill out the form and leave it for me at the desk.  If you have any questions, I’ll be in the lobby during the first service.

Thanks to those of you who brought in calculators today.  I spoke with Lynn and she said that any scientific calculator with graphing functions would be most appreciated.  Thanks again for serving in this way!
